NEW PUZZLE ADVENTURE GAME REMINDS US A LOT OF JOURNEY

RiME is a single-player puzzle adventure game about a young boy shipwrecked on a mysterious island after a torrential storm, which is releasing sometime in May.  It immediately grabbed my attention because of its similarity to one of my favourite indie games of all time, Journey.  The score to RiME, much like Journey’s, is absolutely superb and takes you on a journey (excuse the pun) that most game won’t ever get right.  The game design is simple yet strikingly beautiful, do yourself a favour and take a look at the gameplay below courtesy of IGN.

In RiME, you play as a young boy who has awakened on a mysterious island after a shipwreck. You see wild animals, long-forgotten ruins and a massive tower that beckons you to come closer. Armed with your wits and a will to overcome—and the guidance of a helpful fox—you must explore the enigmatic island and unlock its closely guarded secrets. A land of discovery stretches out before you. Explore the beautiful, yet rugged, world of RiME, a single-player puzzle adventure game releasing in May 2017.
