We invite you to join us in the Cradle of Humankind for some of the greatest music of all time.

RETROFEST#1 will host a selection of South Africa’s best contemporary acoustic musicians performing songs from the 60s & 70s – a time when Music changed the World.

Featuring songs by Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Rodriguez, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Richie Havens, Johnny Cash, Nina Simone, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Muddy Waters & more.

These legends will be brought to life by local talents including Josie Field, Idols winner David van Vuuren, Andra, The Black Cat Bones, Donovan Borne & Some Grow Young.

NIROX Art Foundation is beautifully nestled in the Cradle Of Humankind, with its luscious amphitheatre set to be the stage for RETROFEST#1. The natural surroundings and manicured landscape will create the perfect environment in which to experience some of the greatest songs ever written.

Cuisine on offer will be courtesy of The Epicurian Emporium – a collective of high-end food stalls from the burgeoning food & design market, with emphasis on healthy, naturally-sourced options.

Festival-goers will be treated to a day of Music, Food, Art & Nature.

Gates open at 10h00, live music starts at 11h00 and the festival will conclude in the early evening, beneath a near full-moon sky.

Tickets are available for on-line pre-sale from www.acousticsnow.org orwww.webtickets.co.za at R280.
Tickets for sale at the Gate at R300.
All ages welcome. Children under 12 pay half-price.
